Become a Support Worker

We are proud of the high standard of care we provide and are always looking to expand our team so we can maintain and enhance the level of service we deliver.

We place a strong emphasis on training and have high expectations for the reliability and integrity of our team members.

However, just as important to us is the need for our people to act with empathy and kindness, while demonstrating compassion for

the culturally diverse community we serve.

Although this particular industry has no minimum training requirements, at Allcare Community Support we have an expectation that you will meet with the following requirements:

  • Certificate lll in Disability Care
  • Cert III in Aged Care
  • Cert III in Individual supports
  • Senior First Aid or equivalent
  • Manual Handling Training
  • Medication Training
  • Drivers License and Reliable Vehicle
  • Mobile Phone and Access to Email

For anyone working with children, we also require:

  • National Police Clearance
  • DCSI Child Screening
  • Child Safe Environments Training

We highly value those workers who meet these requirements and hold themselves to the highest standards of professionalism, particularly in relation to reliability, respect, punctuality and professional boundaries.
